Grown in the lush Western Ghats of Karnataka, this exceptional coffee comes from Kerehaklu Estate, a farm dedicated to sustainability and ecological mindfulness. Known for producing nuanced, bright, and clean cups year after year, this washed coffee undergoes a unique Sequential Fermentation process that elevates its complexity and body.
Processing Method – Sequential Fermented Washed
- The ripest S9 varietal cherries are carefully handpicked.
- Fermentation begins in an oxygen-free (anoxic) environment inside special tanks.
- The cherries are then pulped and undergo a second fermentation, enhancing flavor depth.
- Post-fermentation, they are dried meticulously in Polyhouses, ensuring optimal taste retention.
This meticulous approach results in a beautifully layered cup with a balanced acidity and rich mouthfeel.
